This is a request to members and readers of the GAPSters blog:
I would love to hear updates on your progress while on GAPS. Please include what health-related issue brought you to GAPS, how you heard about GAPS, how long you've been following a GAPS protocol and any individualized modifications that you've made. Let me know if you think GAPS is helping your situation or if it isn't—OR if it's helping in a way you didn't expect. Also—tell me if you're exploring other treatments or methods and what they are. I'm SO interested in your stories—in these unique chapters of each of your lives!

Hey there
ReplyDeleteWe're on day 25, going great guns. DS (10) is doing well with it. I have recovered from the horror of cooking/washing-up/cooking/washing-up that was the first week.
I don't know that we've seen any improvement in DS's ADHD & Dyspraxia but it's still early days.
But! He is now making his own scrambled eggs, re-heating chicken drumsticks, and yesterday made his own stewed apples. YAY!
Thanks
Jo
I posted a while back on my blog about my improvements:

I'm now over 9 months on GAPS, having done intro once in July. I'm getting ready to do intro again, after I'm done with my 6 week no dairy trial (I'm finishing week 5 right now). My long-term goals are still in place though my hormones seem to be improving and I have no gas/cramps/stomachache/bloating. So I'm still trucking on the diet...
